Ok so over the past few days I've heard of some people's tree farms being burned down lately including the one at The Vatican. Well today it became personal. I came home after an exciting journey across the wastes to find my Tree Garden on fire. Given it did say "Community Tree Farm" but still that's pathetic. If it's been happening alot we need to find a way to fix it.

Though I have yet to create my own tree farm on this server, typicaly I will burn down the tops of giant trees as it saves a ton of time. I find it much more acceptable to havea tree farm burning than these random forest firest that keep appearing.

What use does Flint and Steel even have anyway? Is it possible to just remove from the server? If someone wanted to make a Nether Portal than a mod could do the lighting. It would definitely help with trolling and people might actually get to build things out of wood without being scared of someone burning it to the ground.

Yes flint nd steel can be removed from the game but again, it is actually extremely useful for removing the leaves and exposing the logs of those annoying giant trees.

Well I see what you mean iCam. But there has to be a solution to all this griefing. Soft had Diamond picks and shovels stolen from him also.

i've had 3 stacks of iron and about 30 diamonds stolen form my at one time by the same person. It'll all be ok in the end.

I think flint and steel should he restricted to regular and higher. I understand that some of you (non regulars) may still want it for the giant trees, but they rant that difficult to deal with and it would stop the griefing. Of course you could also just ask a regular+ to light it for you.

Yeah, some of them Choco, but sometimes with bigger trees it can take a few in game DAYS for the leaves to disappear. Regardless, whoever is lighting up trees isn't doing it to get rid of the leaves, because there's always hardly any wood (if any) taken from the griefed sites. Preventing any users below the regular rank from using flint and steel would probably see a drop in these kind of shenanigans.

i had like 5 diamond picks and shovels and hatchts stolen from me same with tons of arrows and armors of gold

Yeah i had over 60 bars of iron stolen from me too.

We lost 41 BLOCKS of iron. If you're bad at math, that's nearly 400 iron.
